This evening the residential students were merry and bright as they shopped 🛒the night away while working on the independent living skills of buying gifts on a budget, learning how to use self-check out in a commercial setting, and navigating through a store. Smiling faces ☺️, fun with friends, and confident strides were the results of this off campus experience. #Dormlife #BlackBearPride

Students from The West Virginia Schools for the Deaf and the Blind are preparing for the holiday season. ❄
Our Elementary students combined Math with decorating for Christmas last week. 🎁
Ms. Biddle's class measured the area outside the elementary wing of the Sevigny Building to determine the placement of holiday pathway markers. The students were assisted by Ms. Cassie's class in putting out the decorations. Students worked to ensure that the final design was symmetrical. 🎄
