Learning Beyond the Classroom with Residential Life! 💡

Our Residential Students took on a real-world challenge: find items needed for employment and interviews…on a budget! 💼

During a recent Walmart trip, students practiced:
🛒 Smart shopping for job/interview needs
💳 Using debit cards & Cash App
💵 Budgeting & counting money
🗣️ Self-advocacy
✔️ Self-checkout skills

Even more impressive? Their self-advocacy skills and independence were on full display!

Now THAT’S what we call real-world learning! 🙌
