What started in a small brick building in Romney, WV, has grown into a campus dedicated to innovation, accessibility, and student success. Bad News Bears Rocketry Team Takes Flight! 🚀 April Fool’s Day was no joke for our rocketry team! Our first rocket launched successfully, but one parachute failed, sending it plummeting 500 feet. Miraculously, the eggs survived, though two fins broke off. Despite best efforts, the team couldn’t fully repair it. Enter the backup rocket; launch #2 was a success! 🤩 We completed two qualifying flights, with our best reaching 768 feet in 39.71 seconds; both chutes deployed, and the eggs survived! 🥚 Now, we wait to see if our scores earn us a spot at Nationals in Washington, D.C! 🤞 #Rocketry #WVSDB #STEM
