Exciting day in Lost River, West Virginia! 🌲 Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students from The West Virginia Schools for the Deaf and the Blind had an amazing time exploring local businesses in Lost River, WV, including Lost River Vacations and Lost and Found Pizza and Provisions. 🍕 Lost River Vacations, 100% Deaf-Owned, welcomed our students with open arms, showcasing homes built by Deaf craftspeople. Plus, our students proudly contributed, building picnic tables for these spots with Mr. Catlett's CTE class! 🏡

👏🏻Today the Monarchs and Ridge Runners Dorm Pods donated pet supplies, cleaning items, 🧼and dog food to the Hampshire County Animal Shelter as a community service project. The residents collected the items from members of the WVSDB community and prepared the donation. The director of the animal shelter came to campus and accepted the donation for the 🐕fur babies. #DormLife #BlackBearsGivingBack
