Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC) Week was a hit at The West Virginia Schools for the Deaf and the Blind! 🎉 Our students delved into the local art scene with visits to Hampshire County Co-op, where they toured and created art. 🎨 Then, off to Gallaudet for a full day immersing in deaf culture, from campus tours to enjoying lunch in the university cafeteria and even catching a thrilling girls' softball game. 🥎 Meanwhile, our elementary students embarked on a delightful field trip to a local restaurant. 🍽️ Back at school, they honed practical skills with mock video relay calls, mastering everything from setting appointments to making restaurant reservations and knowing when to call 911. What a week of learning and fun! 🌟🏫 #ECCWeek #DeafBlindEducation #WVSDB
