🏹 Hunter Safety is open to students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) or Low Vision (VI) and features hunter safety education, outdoor skills, ASL-accessible instruction, and a Youth Hunt.

🦯 Cane Quest & White Cane Day is designed for students who are Visually Impaired (VI) and offers opportunities to practice mobility skills, build independence, connect with peers, and celebrate White Cane Day.

Duck, Duck… WE LOVE YOU! 🦆

Students, staff, and visitors were on high alert today as “I Love You” ducks popped up in some of the most unexpected places around campus! 👀

The 🤟 handshape, commonly recognized as the American Sign Language (ASL) “I love you” sign, combines the letters I, L, and Y; a small symbol with a big message.

As we continue celebrating Deaf Awareness Month, this activity was a fun reminder of something we see every day at WVSDB: the power of language, community, and belonging.

And in the end, every little duck led back to something much bigger: community. 💙
