This evening the residential staff hosted an end-of-the-year picnic for all of the residents and to say goodbye to the class of 2023. It's Senior Week at WVSDB! We will have Signing Day on Thursday at 2:00 to celebrate our seniors who plan to attend college or enter the workforce next year. Then on Friday at 10:00, we will have our graduation ceremony. All are invited to participate in both events which will take place in the MPR in the Sevigny Building. Over this past weekend, the Boy Scout Troop held a camp out overnight. The scouts painted birdhouses to hang around campus, put up tents. stacked wood, learned how to make a campfire, made s'mores, told ghost stories, created scary faces and made breakfast over a campfire the next morning. #Makingmemories2023. #blackbearscouts

Last evening the WVSDB Boy Scout Troop #1870 visited a local farm to learn about egg production, meet the family pig, go for a hike, visit a campsite, and have a campfire with s'more's and refreshments. Thank you to the Eglinger family members for their hospitality. #BlackBearScouts.

Last night the WVSDB Boy Scout Troop was introduced to the game of tennis by local coaches from the county high school. The scouts learned how to grip the tennis racquet and how to do forehand, and backhand strokes. The evening ended with the scouts and the coaches playing King of the Court. #blackbearscouts
