The West Virginia Schools for the Deaf and the Blind kicked off our College and Career Exploration Week! 🎓 Today, our students participated in a College Fair! Our students got the opportunity to meet with representatives from various colleges. This opportunity allowed our students to interact directly with representatives, ask questions, and get a feel for the campus culture. 🏫 Thank you to the following colleges for coming out to speak with our students. ⭐Allegany College of Maryland ⭐West Liberty University ⭐Fairmont State University ⭐Potomac State College of WVU

Up, Up, & Away.... On snowy Winter ❄️ evenings, the residential students have been discovering new recreational activities. Residents have been learning how to fly drones. Thank you to the WV Deaf Service Center for the loan of the drones for our new navigators to enjoy. 🕹️ Other residents have been learning the game of air hockey with a friend.

Elementary students from The West Virginia Schools for the Deaf and the Blind have been learning measurements! 📏 The first activity our students participated in was measuring how tall they were with string and then placing the string inside an ornament. The second activity our students participated in was using measurements to bake cookies! 🍪
