The West Virginia Schools for the Deaf and the Blind (WVSDB) is excited to announce the return of 104.1 WVXS – The Bear Radio!

The station's return marks an exciting new chapter as WVXS becomes part of WVSDB's expanding Career and Technical Education (CTE) opportunities, providing students with hands-on experience in broadcasting, audio production, technology, and media communications.

More than just a radio station, WVXS will serve as a learning environment where students can develop technical skills, explore career pathways, and gain practical experience in the broadcasting industry. Through real-world applications, students will have opportunities to strengthen their creativity, communication, teamwork, and professional skills.

The return of The Bear not only reconnects WVSDB with a familiar part of its history but also reflects the school's continued commitment to preparing students for success beyond the classroom.
