The Career Academy for Postgraduates (CAP) program at the West Virginia Schools for the Deaf and the Blind (WVSDB) is hosting an exciting College Prep Weekend this fall. This dynamic event is designed to help students who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing (DHH), Blind, Low Vision (VI), or Deafblind prepare for their future beyond high school.

Throughout the weekend, students will participate in hands-on workshops, college readiness activities, and networking opportunities designed to help them explore whatās next. From learning about college resources and accessibility supports to discovering ways to build confidence, independence, and self-advocacy, participants will leave with the tools they need to take their next big step.
College Prep Weekend also allows students to connect with peers, mentors, and professionals ready to help them succeed.
