The Personal Career Readiness Academy, also known as EmpowerEd is a comprehensive program designed to bridge the gap between high school education and post-secondary life. Specifically tailored for Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) and Visually Impaired (VI) students, the academy empowers individuals to transition confidently into higher education, vocational training, or the workforce.

Students have the opportunity to earn dual credit through a partnership with Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College while exploring one of six individualized career pathways. These carefully designed pathways allow students to develop both academic knowledge and practical skills in a supportive, inclusive environment that meets their unique needs.
