The Bear Tones Music Academy is a one-of-a-kind program designed for students who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing (DHH), Blind, or Visually Impaired (VI). Through a blend of individual instruction, music theory, live performance, and hands-on experience with modern music technology, our students don’t just learn music—they live it.

Mr. Josh Haza

I may not read sheet music the same way others do, but in Bear Tones, I experience music. I listen, I feel, and I create. Being part of this Academy shows me that vision isn’t required to make something beautiful.
