The West Virginia Instructional Resource Center (IRC) is a statewide, centralized depository for specialized materials and information relating to the education of the blind/low vision. The IRC team works with Teachers of the Visually Impaired and county school systems to provide accessible educational materials and technical assistance.

As required by federal laws and regulations, the West Virginia Schools for the Deaf and the Blind do not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, religion, and national origin in the employment and administration of any of its educational programs and activities.
