Appalachia Provisions is the Culinary and Hospitality Academy of the West Virginia Schools for the Deaf and the Blind, where students take the lead in developing real-world skills in food service, customer care, and professional kitchen operations. Under the guidance of Chef Brian Olden, students gain hands-on experience in every aspect of the industry. From preparing meals and managing events to running a fully functioning café.

This dynamic, student-driven program is designed to foster independence, creativity, and career readiness. Through classroom instruction and practical application, students earn industry-recognized certifications, build confidence, and prepare for success in the workforce and beyond.
