The WVSDB Human Resources Department is responsible for management of the hiring practices to assure compliance with state and federal law which includes personnel sourcing and hiring, applicant tracking, along with confirming applicant certification/licensure requirements or other hiring criteria are in compliance with specific position qualifications.

The HR Department also has supervision of WVSDB policies applicable to employee management and provides skill development tracking mechanisms to facilitate annual professional development goals for staff are accomplished.
