Special Education
The West Virginia Schools for the Deaf and the Blind’s instructional programs and services are designed to meet the unique needs of children and youth who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind, low vision or deafblind. Through individualized and specially designed instruction, students master curricula and develop important skills for living and learning in the 21st century. The instructional staff at WVSDB is eager to assist students and their families in understanding and navigating the special education process. We welcome questions and suggestions.
