Purpose and Goals of WVSDB Foundation
The WVSDB Foundation was established in 1995 and is committed to enhancing and enriching the educational, vocational, special skills, and social development of the students enrolled in WVSDB or who potentially will be enrolled in WVSDB. The foundation may also support activities related to the training and education of staff working with students with hearing or visual disabilities. The Foundation can raise money to finance these efforts.
**Vice President Keith Richardson
**Treasurer and WVSD Representative Becky Keaton I was raised in Ohio, but moved to Romney, WV after I met and
married a Romney native. We have two children ages 14 and 15 who keep us very busy driving them to their various sports practices and activities. This is my 8th year teaching at the School for the Deaf. I have seen many changes in my short time at the school, and I can honestly say that I am very excited about the direction in which our school is headed.
**Member and WVSB Representative Donna Brown
I was born and raised in eastern Pennsylvania, just outside of Philadelphia. I am a proud graduate of the Overbrook School for the Blind. For the past 34 years, I have taught in various capacities at WVSDB, and I have enjoyed every minute of it. For several years, I have coached various sports at WVSDB; swimming, goalball, and track and field
